When we met Tohan and Rasuli, we talked about the number of compotitions that had been lost on Bumi Blambangan. Many giro-giroan are not well-documented, while the elders who memorized are just in a numbers.
Then we agreed to meet again, to record it. The two of them will try to remember the gendhing of the old gears that were inaudible and almost disappeared on Bumi Blambangan.
This is the second stage we managed to record (again) 4 (four) gendhing Giro on July 7, 2019.
Again, we propose that these gendhings be given names, as an identity. They agreed. We named those Gendhings with DAWILOK, the name of his father, Tohan. While others, "Gendinge Kakik" we giving. Just because every time Rasuli we asked the name of 2 (two) gendhings he played. He always answered: "Iku Gendhinge Kakik" or "That's my Grandfather's Gending".
